Tragic end of three lives due to 'illicit' relationship

MANGALDAI, September 8: A tragic incident of extra-marital affair has taken the lives of three persons, including a housewife of Borgora TE under Dalgaon Police Station in Darrang district on Wednesday night. Tidius Borla (37) of the TE reportedly attacked and killed Mohini Munda (40), a married woman and Siba Thawra (20) with sharp weapons while they were walking towards their residence from the local Karam Puja festival site at around 9 pm. The accused Tidius later committed suicide by hanging from a tree in the TE. According to a local source, the husband of the victim woman had withdrawn his relationship with his wife allegedly due to her extra-marital affair with Tidius. But recently Tidius started suspecting Siba Thaowra of developing a relation with Mohini which reportedly made him furious, the source added.
