Trainee teachers' protest

SHILLONG, Sept 26: The Diploma in Elementary Education (DeL Ed) trainee batch 2013 has taken a decision to march towards the Directorate of Educatiol Research and Training office (DERT) located at Laitumkhrah on Wednesday at 10 am, seeking clarification on their exams results. The decision was taken in an emergency meeting held here today after the NOIS failed to set right the interl marks as assured by the Assistant Director of NIOS, Regiol Centre Guwahati, Piyush Prasad during a meeting with the delegation of trainees on September 14.
