Trainee teachers threaten to march towards Secretariat

SHILLONG, Oct 30: The two-week deadline set by the Diploma in Elementary Education trainee batch 2013 to Deborah C Marak, Minister Elementary Education, seeking her intervention on the announcement of results by tiol Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) ended on Sunday. The trainee teachers have threatened to march towards the Main Secretariat building along with the support from MSSASA leaders if NIOS does not announce fresh result within the third of November. The agitating teachers had set a time frame to NIOS to announce fresh results from 15 to 17 this month to meet their demand. However, till date noting has been done.
