Training camp for NCC cadets underway

Dibrugarh, May 8: The 10-day annual training camp, 2018-19 of 10 Assam Battalion (Bn) NCC, organized by Group Headquarters NCC at JNV, Doomardallang in Moran from May 3, will conclude on May 12. Five hundred NCC cadets from 45 schools and colleges from the districts of Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sivsagar and Charaideo have been participating actively in various training programme like physical fitness, yoga, drill, weapon training, map reading, specialized military subjects and cultural development. Special emphasis has also been given on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Participating NCC cadets also brought out a special rally which passed through the main thoroughfare of Moran town with an agenda to motivate community on the various aspects of Swachhata. Earlier, Commanding Officer, 10 Assam Bn, NCC, Dibrugarh, Colonel Joydeep Goswami asked the participants to take part in all activities of the camp sincerely and learn from each other. He hoped that these activities would help them in every step of their life.
