Training camp for youth volunteers underway

Dibrugarh, July 20 : Nehru Yuva Kendra, Tinsukia has been conducting a 15-day induction training camp from July 12  at Fishery Training Centre, Tinsukia for newly-selected tiol Youth Volunteers of Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Jorhat and Golaghat districts of Assam for the year 2017-18.

 All total 78 numbers of newly-selected youth volunteers have been participating in the training programme, who are going to serve their respective districts for the next two years after obtaining the training.  The formal iuguration was held on  July 13 under the president ship of District Fishery Officer, Utpal Bora. The District Youth Coorditor, Tinsukia,  Kamalapaty Saikia elaborated the purpose of such training.

Chairperson, Zilla Parisad, Tinsukia, Mira Sing iugurated the training programme.  In her iugural speech she asked the youth participants to avail the training in a satisfactory manner and thanked Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan for providing the opportunity by holding the training in Tinsukia.

 The chief resource person of the training is Triloki th Mishra, Deputy Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Guwahati, while Dilip Sharma, District Youth Co-orditor, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jorhat, is the Training in-charge and Kamalapaty Saikia, District Youth Coorditor in-charge, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Tinsukia, is the camp in-charge.

 Field visit was conducted on July 17 where the participants visited the newly-iugurated Bhupen Hazarika Setu connecting Dhola and Sadiya, and Roing in Aruchal Pradesh. The training will conclude on July 26 with a valedictory programme where certificates will be distributed amongst the volunteers.
