Training for polling and presiding officers in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh, March 30: For ensuring the peaceful conduct of the assembly elections to be held in the seven constituencies of Dibrugarh district on April 4, the district administration has geared up to finish up the election-related works.

As such the training date of the Polling and Presiding Officers and group formation has been re-confirmed. In this regard, the Group A, training was conducted at District Library, likewise Group B training at Dibru College, Group C training at DHSK College, and Group D training was carried out at Graham Bazaar Girl’s High School.

Moreover,   a special training programme for women Polling and Presiding Officers was conducted at Graham Bazaar Girls High School on Wednesday, whereas, the Group E training programme would be held at Dibrugarh University on April 1.  At the aforesaid training programmes, expert trainers will be providing comprehensive instruction to the officials on the ways for smooth conduct of polls.
