Training for zol and sector officers in Chirang

KOKRAJHAR, March 19: The zol and sector officers for the 31-Sidli (ST) LAC were trained on Friday on the use of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) by the master trainers in presence of District Election Officer (DEO) and Deputy Commissioner Rupak Kr. Mazumdar, Chirang, in the conference hall of the DC’s office at Kajalgaon. Sources said in the training, the master trainers Jyatish Sarma and Rupeswar Brahma explained about the system of EVM, its use in the election and the technique of operating of it. The trainees were given hands-on training with the EVM. The DC and DEO Mazumdar advised the trainees to get equipped and updated to avoid any doubt and confusion during the polling day. Assistant Commissioner Jitu Kr. Barman was also attended the training programme and apprised the duties and responsibilities of the zol and sector officers during election.
