Training on dairy farming

LBARI, May 15: A two-day training programme on dairy farming along with an awareness meet was organised by Sanjivani Foundation, an NGO, in association with Animal Husbandry and Veteriry Department and Dairy Development Department of BTC, Kokrajhar, at Lakshmipur High School at Laxmipur A Block in Baksa district on May 7-8.  HP Rajkumar, SDO (Sadar), Mushalpur, attended the awareness meet as chief guest and also formally launched the website of Sanjivani Foundation. Joynul Ali, Dairy Development Officer of BTC, Kokrajhar, and Dr Gajen Das, District AH and Veteriry officer, Baksa, explained the technical sides of dairy farming. Officers from SBI, AGVB and Central Bank of India, Mushalpur branch, also attended the programme.
