Training programme held

 Biswath Chariali, May 23: A day-long training programme on the proper use of seeds, manure and pesticides was held for the retail and whole sellers on Tuesday in the office of the Biswath Sub-Divisiol Agriculture Officer here. The programme was conducted by Madan Gopal Sahu, Biswath Sub-Divisiol Agriculture Officer while it was iugurated by Pradeep Sonowal, Assistant Director, Department of Agriculture. Phanindra Saikia, Agriculture Development Officer (Ghahigaon) and Dhan Baruah from NGO Gramin took part as resource persons. Senior Agriculture Development Officers Pradeep Talukdar, Biswajit Borkataki and Khirod Sharma were also present on the occasion.
