Training programme on sustaible development

Dibrugarh, Dec 14: In a bid to impress upon the importance of sustaible development as well as to identify the scope for it in Dibrugarh district, a day-long training programme was convened by the Transformation and Development Department of the State Government on Wednesday. Addressing the various district-level department heads present at the programme, Development Consultant, JC Phukan and UNICEF Consultant Wahida Rahman spoke of various areas where sustaible development could be implemented in the district. Moreover, a committee was formed to find solutions to the practice of deferral with respect to implementation of government-sponsored development activities.
