Training programme on Swachh Bharat Mission

Dibrugarh, Jan 5: A day-long training programme on Swachh Bharat Mission was held on Wednesday under the aegis of the district administration and District Drinking Water and Sanitation Committee at the DC office. Project Officer and Supervisor of Child Welfare of the Social Welfare department (district and block level), and the members of Swachh Bharat Mission were the participants to the programme.  Speaking at the training programme, Additiol Deputy Commissioner Ankur Bharali urged the participants to play a role in spreading the message of cleanliness at the grassroots level, and also to contribute towards making Dibrugarh a clean district. Executive Engineer of Public Health Engineering, Bhaskarjyoti Sharma asked the supervisors to conduct an alysis among the respective centres under their jurisdiction, and accordingly set individual standards for the purpose of performance appraisal. He also asked the supervisors to work towards setting up a model Anganbadi centre in their respective areas. The other dignitaries who attended the programme included Assistant Executive Engineer, Eijaz Hussain and Assistant Commissioner Ruv Ramsiyari.
