Training programme on waste magement held

SHILLONG, July 2: A two-day training programme on solid and liquid waste magement organized by the office of the Executive Engineer PHE South West Khasi Hills district, was iugurated by the Deputy Commissioner R.Lyngdoh on Thursday.
The programme was attended by the local people of Ranikor and Mawkyrwat Block were trained on various scientific ways of disposing waste, protecting the environment and at the same time re-used and re-cycle waste in a benefitting manner.
