Training programme to prepare students for competitive exams

Dibrugarh, December 7: The Information and Career Guidance Cell (IACGC) under DHSK College has organized a training session for the students, to prepare them for the competitive based examitions.

At a meeting held for the purpose, Professor of DHSK College, Dr Atikuddin Ahmed, deliberated the need for students to prepare themselves for SSC, Bank PO, Clerk and other competitive examitions. Dr. Ahmed further stated that IACGC, since its inception in 1991, had been playing a commendable role in helping the students to plan their career. The Head of the Department of Geography, Dr Bharati Dutta, talked at length about various questions concerning the students and their vocation.

On the first day of the training programme on December 5, the Director of Distance Education Department, Dibrugarh University, Dr. Debo Pallav Rajkhowa, as a resource person, attended the programme and provided guidance to the students.

Earlier, the Coorditor of Information and Career Guidance Cell, Dr Bhaskar Das, as the anchor of the meeting, informed that the training programme would continue till December 20. The Coorditor of CACGC further spoke about the grants extended by the Principal of DHSK College, Dr Sasikanta Saikia for the successful implementation of the programme.
