Training workshop held

GOLAGHAT, November 17: District Industries and Commerce Centre (DIC) organized a 15-day training programme for  the women  of the Scheduled Caste (SC) community at its office campus, which concluded on Tuesday. Golaghat district DIPRO stated in a press release that to develop the skills of the women belonging to the SC community, DIC had organized the training workshop on wax candle and chocolate preparation.  Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat district, Anowarul Haque reviewed the training workshop.  He advised the trainees to focus not only on making and packaging wax candles and chocolates but also in marketing the products.
