Trains cancelled/controlled

GUWAHATI, Feb 21: In view of the ‘Rail Roko’ agitation called by the Adivasi Ceasefire Organization and Birsa Commando Force at Kokrajhar on February 22, 2017 in support of their various demands, several trains have been cancelled, regulated or short termited.

SHORT TERMITION: 55713 New Jalpaiguri-Rangiya passenger train scheduled to leave from New Jalpaiguri on 22.02.2017 will be short termited at New Coochbehar and will remain partially cancelled between New Coochbehar and New Bongaigaon.  The train will return from New Coochbehar as 55714 as per time table timings.

55714 Rangiya – New Jalpaiguri passenger train of 22.02.2017 will be short termited at New Bongaigaon and will partially remain cancelled between New Bongaigaon and New Coochbehar. The train will return from New Bongaigaon to Rangiya as 55713 as per time table timings.

CANCELLATION: 15771 Alipurduar Jn. - Kamakhya Intercity Express of 22.02.2017; 15772 Kamakhya – Alipurduar Jn. Intercity Express of 22.02.2017; 15769 Alipurduar Jn. - Lumding Intercity Express of 22.02.2017; 15770 Lumding - Alipurduar Jn. Intercity Express of 22.02.2017; 55811 Dhubri – Kamakhya passenger of 22.02.2017; 55812 Kamakhya - Dhubri passenger of 22.02.2017; 55753 Alipurduar Jn. - Guwahati Intercity Express of 22.02.2017; and 55754 Guwahati - Alipurduar Jn. Intercity Express of 22.02.2017 are cancelled.

REGULATIONS: 15959 Howrah-Dibrugarh Kamrup Express will be controlled at New Alipurduar, 12424 New Delhi – Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express at New Coochbehar; 12236 New Delhi – Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express at New Coochbehar; 15619 Gaya – Kamakhya Express at Gosaigaon Hat; 12423 Dibrugarh – New Delhi Rajdhani Express at New Bongaigaon; 12516 Guwahati – Trivandrum Express at Barpeta Road; 15960 Dibrugarh – Howrah Kamrup Express at Rangiya; abd 12501 Guwahati – New Delhi Poorvattar Sampark Kranti will be controlled at New Bongaigaon, a press release said.
