Tree plantation at polytechnic institute

BAIHATA CHARIALI, Sept 24:  Under the aegis of  Poribesh, a tree plantation programme was held recently at the newly-constructed campus of the Polytechnic Institute at Baihata Chariali.

The programme was iugurated by Bankim Sarma, DFO, NK division of forest, Rangiya . In the programme, Dr. Nripendra th Talukdar, Head of the Department of Chemistry, Pub Kamrup College, Chanda Mahanta Bania, member of Bezera ZPC and Ambika Pad Goswami, president of the organization, also participated and spoke about the conservation of ture and its bio-diversity. Earlier, Utpal Barua, Principal of the institute, lit the ceremonial lamp and the secretary of the organization explained the purpose of the programme .
