Tree sapling distribution programme

Namrup, June 13 : Seuji, an NGO founded in the year 2013 as ‘Seuji Sangha’ and registered in 2015, concluded its tree sapling distribution programme on Monday by organizing an awareness session-cum-plant distribution ceremony at Fertilizer Staff Club. The awareness session held on the occasion was chaired by Anima Deuri, noted writer, social activist and retired teacher of BVFCL HS School, while Soumin Mahanta, secretary of Seuji elaborated the objective of the meet. Mahanta in his speech dwelt at length on the objective of Seuji and said that the NGO would continuously strive to realize its aim to build a greener Assam through greener Namrup.
Anima Deuri in her speech urged the people to save the environment. The programme was also graced by the presence of Sishuram Gogoi, president of Seuji and also the brand ambassador of the State Forest Department.
