Tribute paid to Army personnel

mrup, Nov 14: Subedar Raju Newar, son of Dilliman Newar and Budhimaya Newar of Tingkhong, Dibrugarh, who worked under Dogra Regiment of Indian Army, died in a road accident on November 8 at Chambalbus village under Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. He was 42. His body was brought to his residence at Tingkhong on November 11 and cremated here with military honour. Besides, Bimal Bora, MLA of Tingkhong, AAGSU, Army delegates and others paid rich tribute to the departed soul. He leaves behind his mother, his wife and a son. The people of Tingkhong have deeply condoled his death.
