Tribute paid to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam

Abhayapuri, July 27: A semir was held at the conference hall of SDO (Civil) on Wednesday regarding ‘tion Building Vision-2020-Tribute to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’ on his death anniversary.

The semir was presided over by the Additiol Deputy Commissioner and i/c SDO (Civil), North Salmara, Abhayapuri, Saranga Pani Sharma and other dignitaries present in the meeting were EAC of North Salmara, Abhayapuri, Ashrumoni Malakar, former Principal of Abhayapuri College, Shiv Kumar Tiwari, Senior Citizen’s Association, educationists, students and other officers and officials of the office of North Salmara, Abhayapuri, stated a press release.

The SDO (Civil) said that Dr Kalam was such a person that he was not only an eminent scientist but also a philanthropist, philosopher, a motivatiol speaker, a foresighted person, a thinker, writer and a demi-god figure.

Former Principal of Abhayapuri College, Shiv Kumar Tiwari said that Dr Kalam’s main vision was to make India economically a prosperous country and inspiring the young people to be great citizens of India. Some of the educationists in their speech described the life history of Dr. Kalam that how from a poor fisherman’s son and after extreme hard work and determition, he rose to be the Missile Man and President of India.

The semir ended with a vote of thanks from SDO (Civil) and he winded up the semir saying that that Vision -2020 was actually a 500-document page which was made by Dr Kalam with 500 members that how India should develop itself by the year -2020 where he included all the sectors individual development like agriculture, food processing, infrastructure  with renewable power, education in health care, social security, growth in information and telecommunication, and education in rural areas.
