Tribute paid to Dr APJ Kalam

SIVASAGAR, August 1: Along with the rest of the country, Sivasagar too recollected the life and contributions of former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his first death anniversary recently.

In a commemoration meeting organized by Sivasagar district administration at Sukafa conference hall of the DC’s office, Sivasagar, chaired by Additiol Deputy Commissioner DN Morang, district administration officials, dignitaries, students and teachers of various schools paid tribute to the great son of the soil, Bharat Rat Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

In his speech, Morang said that he had once got the opportunity to meet Dr Kalam and share his thoughts and ideas in Duliajan. Further, Additiol Deputy Commissioner PR Gharphalia and other distinguished persolities shared their views about Dr Kalam. Some school students also spoke on the occasion.
