Tribute paid to jourlist Kamala Saikia

Golaghat, August 9:  The first martyr jourlist in Assam, Kamala Saikia’s 24th death anniversary was observed on Tuesday in many parts in the State. Golaghat Press Club also observed his death anniversary. Tributes were paid to the jourlist who was killed by miscreants on this day in the year 1991. Golaghat Press Club officials,  including acting president Bikash Sharma, secretary Diganta Bhuyan and senior jourlist Dwipen Dutta paid tribute and commemorated the contribution of Kamala Saikia to the field of jourlism and the society.
