Tribute paid to Keshav Saikia

Golaghat, January 30: A public tribute programme was held on Saturday in Golaghat to pay tribute to veteran jourlist and educationist Keshav Saikia who passed away on January 4. The programme was organized by Golaghat Press Club in association with several organizations of the district. Several distinguished persons of Golaghat along with the chief adviser of All Assam Students’ Union, Dr Samujjal Bhattacharya and editor Arun Kumar Das were present in the day-long programme. A book titled Xori Poril Puhoror Phool edited by Professor Devojit Phukan and jourlist Diganta Bhuyan written in fond memory of Keshav Saikia, was unveiled by Dr Samujjal Bhattacharya in the programme.
