Tribute paid to Quit India Movement martyrs

Donkamokam, Aug 11: Along with the rest of the country, the 75th anniversary of the Quit India Movement was observed with a day-long programme at West Karbi Anglong District Congress Committee (WKDCC) office at Donkamokam on Wednesday.  The programme began with lighting of candles and paying floral tribute to the freedom fighters by WKADCC president Sarthe Kramsa, general secretary Honsing Engti and other Congress leaders of the area like Sonjit Marak and Chatrasing Teron.
