Tribute to Bhupenda

mrup, November 7:  Floral and rich tributes were paid to Dr Bhupen Hazarika by several socio-cultural organizations of mrup like mrup Anchalik Chatra Santha and mrup Sahitya Sabha on his fifth death anniversary recently. The programme of CS started with shardhanjali by lighting earthen lamp and garlanding his portrait. A host of speakers spoke briefly on the life and contribution of Dr Hazarika. A melodious Bhupendra Sangeet programme was also organized to mark the occasion, filling the atmosphere of mrup with the sound of Bhupendra Sangeet.
