Tribute to victims of Nepal earthquake

MARGHERITA, APRIL 30: The All Assam Muslim Yuba Parishad (Socialist), Margherita Subdivisiol Committee and Margherita Regiol Committee, on Thursday paid tribute to the victims of the April 25 Nepal earthquake and the victims of the road accident on April 24 where seven people of Biri Bihu troupe died and 14 were critically injured when their Winger collided with a truck at Ramgar, Digboi.

At Segunbari Tiniali, Margherita, more than 50 members of Assam Muslim Yuba Parishad (Socialist) were present and they lit candles to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the Nepal earthquake and the Bira Bihu troupe members.

Mun Ansari, president of All Assam Muslim Yuba Parishad (Socialist) Margherita Regiol Committee said that they prayed for peace of the people who lost their lives. A minute silence was observed by the members of All Assam Muslim Yuba Parishad (Socialist) Margherita Regiol committee and Subdivisiol committee.
