Trimool Congress for flawless voter list in Tripura

AGARTALA, August 20: Trimool Congress has decided to launch a massive campaign throughout  Tripura to ensure preparing a flawless voter list.

Ratan Chakraborty, president of the TMC state committee, said the current voter list is full of fake  mes including Bangladeshis.  “We have decided to launch a massive organisatiol initiative to remove all this fake and faults voters me from the list,” he said.

The work for revision of voter list will begin from September 1 when the Booth Level Officers (BLO)  appointed by the election commission will visit every household to enroll the voters.

A meeting of the TMC leaders held here on Friday has decided to appoint one Booth Level Agent (BLA) for  each booth who will accompany the BLO door to door and keep vigil so that the list become flawless.

The meeting also discussed other organisatiol matters including formation of committees in booth,  block, sub-division and district level where it is yet to be done.

They also decided to launch some agitatiol programmes on the basis of demands pertaining to public interest.  The meeting also discussed the curtail issue of reorganizing the state committee to accommodate the new entrants in the party.  The meeting has entrusted MLA Sudip Roy Barman to take up the matter with party chief and Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerje and the party’s tiol vice president Mukul Roy who will take a fil decision.

Sources said it has been decided that a very small committee will be constituted to start the organizatiol activities and it will be expanded on the basis of experience.
