Tripura Bar Council to verify advocates certificates

Agartala, June 4: Tripura Bar Council has asked all the advocates working within its jurisdiction to submit all their academic certificates starting from school living stage to authenticate their veracity within June 15.

In a press conference, Pijush Kanti Biswas, president of the council said, "Legal action will be taken against the concerned lawyer in case of any faults found regarding their certificates."

It may be recalled that the Supreme Court has passed an order few months ago to verify the authenticity of the certificates of the advocates after several cases were detected regarding forgery certificate.
