Tripura CM condemns private tutors

AGARTALA, June 23: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has strictly condemned the private tutor based education scerio of the state in a felicitation programme in Bodhjung Higher Secondary School.

In his address he said, “It clearly indicates the weakness of the schools.” “If a student of a school secures good results depending on the seven or eight teachers of the school; the concerned school has no right to claim the credit,” he further added.

The students of the school who achieved remarkable result in Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examition were felicitated in the programme. Regarding the poor statistics of results in the board exams the chief minister said, “Teachers must take care of the students so that better performance in board exams can be seen in future.” He further told the students who scored good results to continue their hard work with dedication to pursue bigger targets in near future.
