Tripura, Manipur lift Sunfeast Cup trophies

GUWAHATI, Dec 10: Tripura Titans and Manipur Marshals emerged champion in the Sunfeast Cup soccer meet. In the U-16 category, Tripura Titans domited the game from the start and beat Manipur Marshals by a 1-0 goal win. The winning goal came through Akash in the 2nd minute. In another interesting match in the U-13 category, Manipur Marshals fought tooth and il against Assam Amazers and sealed the victory by 6-5 through tie break. The winning teams will receive scholarship of Rs 72,000 each to pursue the sport further.
