Tripura regrouping centres house 3,870 families

From A Correspondent

Agartala, Dec 16 : Tripura government has rehabilitated total 3870 tribal families in 21 regrouping centres across the state with an aim to provide better amenities to them, forest minister resh Jamatia told in response to a question raised by the CPI(M) MLA Rajendra Reang in the state assembly.

He said that all the families were given house along with kitchen and proper toilet system and purified drinking water. They also have Anganwari Kendra, primary health centre markets in the vicinity and good road connectivity with nearest towns. It may be recalled that the state government had planned these regrouping centres as most of these families were living in hill tops scattered and reaching modern amenities were difficult.
