Trisha takes lead in women’s golf meet

Kolkata, Feb 16: Trisha Sunil carded the only sub-par round of three under 69 to grab the lead on the second day of the third leg of the Hero Womens Professiol Golf Tour at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC) here on Thursday.

Bengaluru’s Trisha had a shaky start, carding a bogey on the second hole, but a birdie on the fourth helped her finish with an even par front nine.

In her back nine, she dropped a shot on the 10th but quickly regained her composure and fired four birdies on the 12th, 14th, 16th and 17th to finish the second round with a total score of 145.

Overnight leader Gaurika Bishnoi could not replicate her first round performance and is placed second with a total score of 147 after the second round. IANS
