Tsering to drive for Team Polaris

ITAGAR, July 18: Lhakpa Tsering, a tive of Aruchal Pradesh has been selected to drive for Team Polaris for the Raid de Himalaya 2015. This rally is considered to be the toughest and the most dangerous in the country and ranked amongst the top 12 toughest motorsport event in the World.

Lhakpa would be partnered by V Venu Rameshkumar, ace vigator and biker from Coimbatore in the 17th Raid de Himalaya to be held from the 7 to 14 of October 2015 in the Polaris Rzr 1000 XP the latest and deadliest machine in the arsel of Polaris.

The Raid de Himalaya is a 2500 km long event starting from the state of Himachal to the Jammu and Kashmir’s Ladakh region and crosses over all three highest motorable roads in the world. Temperatures drop well below freezing point even during the day and even finishing the event is considered a big achievement.

Lhakpa Tsering is also the president of the Motorsports Club of Aruchal who is responsible for bringing Aruchal Pradesh into the tiol motorsports scene. The club organizes motorsports events and Aruchal Festival of Speed has become one of India’s latest motorsport extravaganza attended by top rally drivers and motorsports enthusiasts of the country, a press release informed.
