TTD Daulagopu joins as Hailakandi DDC

SILCHAR, Aug 19: TT D Daulagopu, ADC Cachar, in-charge, SDO (Civil), Lakhipur, has joined as the District Development Commissioner of Hailakandi today. He has been promoted to the post on Wednesday vide an order issued by the State Government. Daulagopu took the charge of SDO (Civil) of Lakhipur on March 4, 2015. He was again promoted to the post of ADC Cachar on the 1st week of January 2016. The commitment and sincerity of Daulagopu has been a subject of wide appreciation across Lakhipur sub-division. He has to his credit a number of achievements as an able and efficient administrator.

 Daulagopu took initiative to elimite the prevalent anomalies in public distribution system (PDS) and also to correct the functioning of food and civil supply department by restoring transparency and accountability. It was during his tenure as SDO (Civil) that the road link between Fulertol and Lakhipur was made of CC block along with master draige system that brought him accolades from people. It is to be noted that there has been widespread public resentment at the deplorable condition of the road that links NH 37 to Imphal.
