Tuki calls on Rahul

Itagar, April 29: Aruchal Pradesh Chief Minister bam Tuki on Tuesday called on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi at his Tuglak Lane office in New Delhi and discussed several organizatiol and developmental matters related to the state. Rahul praised the Chief Minister for successfully implementing the State Government Flagship Programmes which have greatly benefitted the people of the state, an official communiqué said here today. They also discussed the various policy changes brought about by the change of guard in the Centre especially in the backdrop of the Fourteenth Fince Commission (FFC) recommendations and NITI Aayog replacing Planning Commission. The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to usher inclusive development so as to increase the outreach of Governce to the farthest corners of the State. Both leaders further dwelt upon several other matters related to strengthening the Party in the state as well other parts of the North Eastern Region. Tuki informed Rahul that the Party and the Government are working in close co-ordition in the state right from the grassroots levels. Tuki also invited Rahul to visit Aruchal Pradesh and the latter has assured to visit the state soon, the communiqué added.
