Tuki urges party workers to support Khandu government

ITAGAR, Sept 7:  Former chief minister bam Tuki has urged the party workers to support Pema Khandu-led Congress government for overall development of the State.  The clarion call from Tuki came on Tuesday while attending the elevation and induction of Aruchal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) office bearers at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan here. Asking the party’s frontal wings to be united in order to take the Congress party to newer heights, Tuki while addressing the gathering said that APYC is the best training ground for good leadership.

He further urged the youth leaders to prove themselves as a good leader work by showing utmost dedication in the works initiated by the party, a party release informed.

APCC president Padi Richo while calling upon the APYC leaders to strengthen the party said that one’s hard work and loyalty towards the Congress party never goes unrecognized.

Citing his own example as a dedicated party worker since student days and ultimately becoming a legislator, Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak urged the newly appointed APYC office bearers to strengthen the party with unwavering support. Newly appointed office bearers of APYC including working president Jikke Tako, vice-president Geli Ete and general secretary Arjun Pane also spoke on the occasion.  Marpin Basar, one of the longest serving youth leaders of APYC, was also felicitated on the occasion, the release added.
