Tura by poll: KHM backs Conrad Sangma

SHILLONG, May 13: The Khun Hynniewtrep tiol Awakening Movement (KHM) has once again appealed to the people of Garo Hills from all sections of society to extend full support to the NPP candidate Conrad K Sangma for the by-election to Tura Parliamentary constituency to be held on  May 16.

KHM leader Adelbert Nongrum said that people should support the NPP candidate since he dares to take upon himself to carry forward and to accomplish the dreams of his father Late Purno A Sangma who is known as a Missiory and a Visiory, towards the overall upliftment of Garo Hills, the State and the country as a whole.

“Garo Hills is going through a very rough stage in all departments, all through the Congress era, and let the NPP candidate be the light after this darks hours. Conrad K Sangma is a man of principle and integrity and we strongly believe that he is more than capable to contribute towards the welfare and betterment of Garo Hills and of the State at large,” he said.
