JOYSAGAR, April 26: There was an explosion in the 15-MW capacity second electric turbine of the Lakwa Maibela hydro-electric project of Sivasagar on Tuesday evening due to which the regular electricity service of the UAEDC was paralyzed in Lakwa and some parts of Sivasagar town. No causality was reported due to the blast.
