Two accidents in Golaghat, 3 killed

GOLAGHATI, July 18: Amidst celebrations of Eid and Jaganth Rath Yatra today, two cases of road accidents descended  a pall of gloom in  Golaghat area.

In the first accident, two youths were  killed and when a  speedy bus of galand State Transport department bearing registration no NL-01/2002  hit the bike (bearing registration no. AS-05D/2932 ) they were riding on NH 39 near mbor Resrve Forest here.

One youth identified as Tarif Ahmed died on the spot while another one identified as Amir Jahan, who was critically injured, succumbed to his injuries on the way to JMCH.

In another accident occurred at Badulipar Rangamati area under Dergaon P.S in Golaghat, one bank official died and his wife and son seriously injured.

The accident took place at Badulipar Rangamati on NH 37 when a Duster fell into a ditch losing control. The bank official –identified as Utpal Bora, who was driving the vehicle died on the spot. His wife and son got serious injuries and they have been rushed to the JMCH in critical condition.
