Two arrested for selling flood-relief material

BOKAKHAT, September 20: Kamargaon Police arrested Suresh Morang and Kamal Sahu for selling cattle food distributed as flood relief by the Social Welfare and Development Committee of Numaligarh Refinery Limited. The committee distributed 190 bags cattle food for flood-affected domestic animals of Mohura Mouza in Bokakhat subdivision. Suresh Morang of Riri-Kaliapani Village sold 16 bags of the cattle food to Kamal Sahu, a businessman of the locality. The northern regiol committee of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti recovered 14 bags of cattle food from the glossary shop of Sahu and informed the Kamargaon Police. Sahu confessed that he had sold two bags out of 16. The flood-affected people have demanded severe punishment for them.
