'Two arrested for theft at School'

Silchar, May 29: Cases of theft have increased over the days. Two persons have been arrested for stealing various items like utensils, tube well parts, sacks of rice and tin shed of the school building from Boalpur Girls’ M.E. School, Algapur by Hailakandi College Outpost Police on May 27. Abul Hussain Laskar, 27 confessed his crime when interrogated by police. He told the police that he had sold the stolen goods to one Abdul Mann Choudhury. The police force led by Rajoy Rajvanshi along with Abdul Hanif, Havildar and constables Saharul Alam and Taj Uddin bbed the culprits. Police received information about the culprits from secret sources and pounced upon Abul Laskar.
The Headmaster of the school has filed a complaint with the police when he found the items missing. Police have recovered tube well parts. The two culprits have been sent to jail after being produced before Hailakandi Court. Of lately, the people have registered many cases regarding thefts.
