Two arrested in Guwahati Railway Station, drugs seized

GUWAHATI: The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Friday apprehended two persons – Rehena Khulapam of Imphal East, Manipur and Md Babul Ali of Nalbari Assam from platform No. 2 of Guwahati Railway Station allegedly for carrying illicit drugs. Reportedly, they were coming from Kolkata by the Saraighat Express. During the action, the GRP seized around 1,02,000 numbers of SPM-PRX capsules and 7,500 numbers of Nitrazepam tablets carried in 3 bags from their possessions. Meanwhile, a case (No. 314/2018 u/S 22(C)/29 NDPS Act) has been registered.
