Two Badminton players felicitated

SIVASAGAR, May 27: The Industrial Art, Sivasagar on Wednesday felicitated two badminton players for their excellence in the sport. The felicitation ceremony was organized at  the Chau-Lung Syukapha Indoor Stadium.

Continuing its tradition to encourage sports players, the Industrial Art honoured Animesh Gogoi and Riju Rajkumari with a racket, a pair of dress, one packet shuttle and a sports-kit bag each. Animesh Gogoi was felicitated for becoming the champion in the under-10 category in the recently concluded 2nd All Assam Ranking Badminton Tourment, while Riju Rajkumari was felicitated as a rising player in the sport. Both the players were felicitated by Lakhikanta Mahanta, proprietor of Industrial Art, Sivasagar and Saurav Chaliha , general secretary of the Chau-Lung Syukapha Indoor Stadium Magement Committee .
