Two Bangladeshi infiltrators apprehended by BSF

Silchar, Sept 6: Keeping in view the vulnerability of border from infiltration, Frontier Headquarters BSF Mizoram and Cachar has issued operatiol guidelines to strengthen border domition so as to effectively deal with the mece of influx and other antitiol activities along the border with Bangladesh.

Accordingly, on the intervening night of September 5 and 6 at around 2:45 am, BSF along with police apprehended two illegal Bangladesh tiols from the house of Md Faizul Haque of village Jalalpur Part-II. They have been identified as Altaf Ahmed and Shahin Ahmed, both residents of village Surandapur, post office Brahmagram under police station Zakiganj in the district of Sylhet. Some Indian currency and a mobile phone (Nokia) with Indian SIM card were recovered from their possession. The apprehended BD tiols and recovered items have been handed over to the nearest police station for initiating legal action against them.
