Two Bangladeshi tiols bbed

SHILLONG, Nov 29: The BSF apprehended two Bangladeshi tiols today in West Garo Hills district of Meghalya. BSF officials said acting on intelligence input, the duo were apprehended from Barengapara bus stand under Dalu police station. The apprehended Bangladeshi tiols have been identified as Md Saddiq (26) of Uttar Algi village under Sherpur district and Momin Miya (22) of Shardhaganj village under Gazipur district of Bangladesh. Two mobile phones with two Indian and five Bangladeshi SIM cards, one headphone, two chargers, Indian currency notes amounting to Rs 1,630 and some Bangladeshi currency notes were found on them.  It may be mentioned that BSF personnel of Meghalaya frontier also seized one bicycle, 67 cattle, 784 bottles of liquor, 1,400 kilograms of coal, 411 cubic feet of wood, 14 wooden boats and other contraband items worth more than Rs 29 lakh, while being smuggled out from India to Bangladesh along the Meghalaya border during the last fortnight.
