Two bodies found in Demow

DEMOW, August 22:  Two bodies were recovered at Demow in Sivasagar district on Saturday morning. The first body was found in the backside of Santipur public cremation ground and it was floating in the Demow River.  The second body was found in Rajmai in a pond. The first deceased person was identified as Parameswar Karmakar, a resident of Rongrogia gaon near Demow who was missing since last Wednesday. On the other hand, the second deceased person was identified as Raju Bhumij, a daily wage labourer who had four children. The police are investigating both the cases.
