Two bodies recovered

SHILLONG, Dec 28: On December 27 morning, a body of one John Nongkhlaw (35/40) was found lying at Laitumkhrah Bazar, Shillong. Cadaver was sent to CH Shillong for Post Mortem (PM) examition. In another incident on December 26, at around 9.30 pm, a body of one Mebalaiei Bai (23) was found hanging in her residence at Umphyri, Dymmiew, Madanrting, Shillong. Cadaver was sent to CH Shillong for PM examition. Meanwhile, acting on a tip off on December 25 at around 5 pm, unknown miscreants assaulted Ferdind Wahlang at Mawkyrwat (SWKH). The victim sustained injuries and was removed to city base hospital for treatment.
