Two bodies recovered in Numaligarh

NUMALIGARH, January 10: Sensation prevailed after two bodies were recovered from two different places in Numaligarh. The body of Bitupan Boruah(33) of Thengal Gaon recovered was from the Dhansiri river on Sunday evening under Kamargaon police station. Bitupan went for fishing in the river on  January 7 and was missing since then. The police of Kamargaon police station and SDRF searched for him but were unsuccessful. This evening they found his body floating on the river. The body was sent to Golaghat for postmortem. On the other hand, another body was recovered near a dairy firm of Letekujan Tea Estate under Numaligarh police outpost. The employee of the firm informed the police. The police of Numaligarh outpost reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Golaghat for postmortem. The deceased has not been identified as yet.
