Two cattle smugglers bbed

Rangia, Feb 27: Two cattle smugglers were arrested on Friday by troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force from the Indo-Bangladesh border in Dhubri district of Assam. The two cattle couriers were bbed by the alert BSF troops of BOP MM Char from the riverine border in Dhubri when they were trying to smuggle out cattle from India to Bangladesh.  The BSF troops also seized six cattle heads meant to be smuggled out from the area. The approximate value of the seized cattle heads amounts to Rs 57,000. The two cattle smugglers have been identified as Taser Ali (20), son of Md Sukur Ali, Mahamayachar under South Salmara police station in Dhubri district and Amad Ali (35) , son of  Sontesh Ali, Mahamayachar under South Salmara police station in Dhubri district. During questioning they revealed that they were working for one Md  Saidur, son of Mullu Sheikh, Mahamayachar under South Salmara police station in Dhubri district, who was the kingpin of this illegal cattle trade.
