Two-day Rongali Bihu at Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH, MAY 1: The two-day Rongali Bihu Sanmilan, organized by the Staff Welfare Committee (SWC) of the Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) in association with the local people of Barbaruah, has begun at Puja Play ground of Barubaruah in Dibrugarh District from today . The Sanmilan , first of its kind since setting up of  BCPL, will be marked by holding of various comptetitions like Dhol (drum)flute ,and Gogo (a folk instrument made of Bamboo) Badan besides  various forms of Bihu dance competitions and a traditiol fashion show. The winners of the competition will be awarded with cash prize,certificates and other mementos.
