Two-day Rongali Bihu fest at Kumarikata

TAMULPUR, April 19: As in previous years, the Kumarikata Anchalik Yubak Sangha is going to organize a two-day Bihu programe on April 29 and April 30 at Kumarikata in Baksa district. A committee with Bhupen Pathak as president and yan Das as secretary has been constituted for the successful conduct of the grand event. The opening day's programme will comprise a cultural procession, followed by flag-hoisting. There will also be competitions in drawing, and in the evening, Bihu Hussori contests will be held. The programme on the second day shall comprise among other things, distribution of prizes. In the evening, the cultural show will be participated by several popular singers of the State.
